The UI of this software looks very Longhorn. I mean, the menu where I can get the useful tasks like 'insert picture...' etc on the right. The design of the software is very different of what I have seen done by microsoft before, those who have Windows Vista, then may be it looks kind like the movie maker, but yet again this one is blue and not black. You can also choose the color of the UI so, well I can put it black.

To tell the truth, blogging made with software is much nicer then using ajax or any other online web 2.0 technology. By the way, although Microsoft hasn't confirmed yet that the WLM 8.5 is now final, though you can download it from wlm beta site

News about Harmony

Hi.
All Harmony developers and designers were very busy during the last weeks. We well be again for the coming week because of school examinations. But we keep thinking about Harmony and we make new concepts. The latest is the integration of the new design from Heigo. We have also updated the Harmony website with a new look & feel and some informations about the operating system. We begin to work on the latest bug fixes and no new features for the upcoming Beta, Beta 5 called "Harmony 1 Pre". We predict to release it in July or August.

NeXT Photo concept for all Harmony applications

I'm working on the concept of NeXT Photo which must represent the full quality of the Harmony UI itself. So I take time and try diffrent things and we will also have many online live discussions about how it should look like. A little preview of whats going on perhaps remove some clouds. Basically some parts of it may be changed, but it does look a lot of what we want to provide in the near future under name of Harmony. Some ideas that have not yet been officially settled are photo taging, rotate and some nice PNG covers + slideshow.

News about Harmony Development

Hi !

It has been a long time since the last news about the development of Harmony.
We worked on some UI features to make Harmony a bit funny.
We tried to insert water waves effects on the desktop, but the algorithm to create waves is not enough powerful to support a full-screen picture ( here the background ). So we'll try to put it at a different place in the Operating System to enjoy this beautiful effect. We have not yet ideas for a place to put it, but we're waiting for Heigo, if he has any idea. We also fixed a lot of bugs in Harmony, especially in the LogIn Panel and on NeXT HiFi, which is now at Rev7, with a lot of fantastic new features such as Playlist, full customization and new UI. We can't give you any date of release of the next Beta of Harmony, which will be a public beta. Maybe we'll release it on June or July.
